last week
it was a hard one (understatement)
and i flew back as fast as they let me
and i feel bad that’s
all that i can do
but at least i made it
i can live on no-name streets
or live in cardboard houses
cause what i wanna do is have
a home, with you
on a mountain
or deep under water
cause what i wanna do is have
a home, with you
last month
has been a long one (understatement)
cause i hate boxes full of stuff
cause i know in six weeks they'll be
still full on the floor
i know in six weeks things will be better
i could live on no-name streets
or live in cardboard houses
cause what i wanna do is have
a home, with you
on a mountain
or deep under water
cause what i wanna do is have
a home, with you
last year
has been a weird one (understatement)
so much has changed, and for the better
but i've a lot to get over
and get through
but now i get to move in with you
i can live on no-name streets
or live in cardboard houses
cause what i wanna do is have
a home, with you
on a mountain
or deep under water
cause what i wanna do is have
a home, with you

A great album that manages to tell a story with some absolute bangers! Lots of really emotional tracks that stick the landing. The instrumentation of rogue ump is so hauntingly beautiful accompanied with perfect lyrics. An additional shoutout to get normal, hurt people and mike townsend (knows what he's gotta do) violet_rain3
